I have a question regarding zakat. I have come across some families where the male member of the family is healthy but doesn’t want to work and earn due to laziness and the spouse and children are suffering. If we give zakat to the wife, her husband also eats food given by our zakat. In such situation, is our zakat valid?

Walaikum Assalam Warahmatullah
The validity of the zakat being dispensed will depend on the recipient. If the wife is genuinely recipient for zakat such that she does not possess the Nisab, then the zakat given to her would be valid and fulfilled.
It does not matter what she does with that money after taking qabdha (possession) of it. If she spends for her home expenses, then it will be permissible for the husband as well, who many not be a valid recipient of zakat.
