Question is about our female muslim sister working as flight attendant with a Canadian Air line. Would it be permissible for her to work in this capacity?

Following question relating to job suitability lays down a general parameter for any Shariah Compliant Job. Please read through it and check the two criteria for halal suitability.

From above, one would need to assess the Airline for their major source of income. This may not be a major issue.
So, the main concern will be whether such a job is befitting a Muslim(ah)?
In order to fulfil the job one may have to compromise on many fundamental aspects of one’s haya’ and modesty. From engaging with non Mahram, to dressing inappropriately as well as having to serve alcohol and haram food. Thereupon for a sister she would have to travel long distances without mahram as well.
Clearly, if all things were ideal, one would not choose this job description as a befitting role for a Muslimah. We suggest that make du’a to Allah to open the doors for other halal and tayyib sustenance where one does not need to jeopardize one’s religion in anyway.
