Can you please guide on how to take out wudhu water and ghusl water for treatment of evil eye? And how to use it, the right way?
Bismillahi Ta’ala
Walaikum Assalam Warahmatullah,
In Tibb al Nabawi ﷺ multiple ways have been prescribed for warding off an evil eye. It is most appropriate that someone who fears that such an evil eye affects them should take any of these steps in their regular life.
It is equally important to seek proper understanding of some of these litanies or supplications, so that one understand that the real true cure is from Allah.
1. In Trimidhi Shareef it has been mentioned that Nabi ﷺ used to seek refuge from jinn and evil eye until Mu’awizatayn were revealed. From then on after he would only rely on the mu’awizatayn (for protection from evil eye).
This indicates the personal adoption of Rasulullah ﷺ. Mu’awizatayn refers to the two “isti’aza” i.e. Surah al-Falaq and Surah al-Naas
2. Hadeeth of Bukhari Shareef mentions the du’a which Nabi ﷺ would use to seek protection from evil eye for Sayiduna Hasan and Husayn radi allahu ta’ala anhuma. He would even mention that Sayiduna Ibraheem a.s would use this du’a for his sons Isma’il and Ishal alihimus salam.
Translation: I seek protection through the most perfect of wordings of Allah, from every shaytan and evil creature and from every evil eye.
3. Similarly, we have other recommendations for protection from evil eye such as:
- Recital of Ayatul Kursi (Qur’an 2:255)
- Recital of Surah Fatiha
- Recite “La Hawla Wa La Quwwata illa Billah” and instill in mind that all might belongs to Allah and no ailment can come without His permission. So our hope and supplication should be directed to Him.
4. One such method that has been mentioned in the ahadeeth is also which you have indicated in the question.
a. If someone has dominant conviction that the evil eye has been casted by a certain individual, then he/she should approached to acquire cure for the evil eye. For this he will be asked to make wudhu’ and his musta’mal water will be collected in a container. Then the one who has been afflicted is asked to take a bath with this collected water.
For this, one could use a container with water in it, and make full wudhu’ with it. While he does so, he makes sure that all mus’amal water goes back into this container. Once done, the musta’mal water for wudhu may be poured over the afflicted individual as done in a bath.
I hope that this method will be fruitful, insha’Allah
b. There is yet another detail procedure for such wudhu’ and ghusl mentioned by scholars of hadeeth which is under the scope of prescribed tbbi medical procedure. This should be sought only from expert raaqi who can give further guidance insha’ Allah.
One last advice would be to know that these procedure are from matters which may not follow general logical sense. Many medical procedures are only known to the practitioners themselves.
These should be addressed in this manner. If general mu’awizaat (du’a and supplications) do not work, then seek out an expert in the field and follow their guideline instead of trying such procedures yourself and then feel negative when desired result is not obtained.
May Allah rectify all the affairs, and grant the afflicted full, prolonged and speedy cure, Ameen.
Wallahu A’lam
