Using finger on the Holy Qur’an while reading it

481 viewsGeneral (Misc)qur'an quran recitation

I have been told that I should not play the finger on the Qur’an while reading it. Could you please guide?

Bismillahi Ta’ala

In essence, placing the finger or not doing so are both okay. The guidance given to you could have been with fear of touching Qur’an without wudhu’.

The purpose of using a finger or any such measure is to attain extra focus in recital. If one can not focus without it, then one should utilize this method.
