Can I read quran during taraweeh prayer ? It means I will read quran while Imam reading surah, and before he goes to ruku in first rakha I will join him in salah..
So I can do my taraweeh prayer and also complete my own reading quran ..

While it may seem that multi-tasking here could yield more rewards for oneself, we must understand that Shari’ah gives sanctity and honor to every ibadah in its own right.
Consider a mother requesting her child to draw her a special flower, to show the child’s love for the mother. And the child does draw the flower, but half-heartedly while also changing clothes. The mother would feel sad that the child did not give his full diligence to the drawing. Upon questioning, the child may say , “Oh mom, but you like me changing clothes too”.
As innocent and sincere the gesture maybe, one still recognizes the implicit disrespect in the action.
The same is in regards to Taraweeh Salah which has been specified for the nights of Ramadhan. Moreover, the listening of the Qur’an in the salah is equally if not the defining feature of the taraweeh. Diminishing this, by cutting corner to read one’s own Qur’an recitation will surely decrease the merits towards both Taraweeh and to one’s personal Qur’an recitation.
So, I would suggest that recite your own Qur’an during day time, or after taraweeh, as much as your time and energy gives you ability to. And during the taraweeh salah, give your 100% to taraweeh, desiring to fulfil this special ibadah of Ramadhan, seeking pure pleasure of Allah.
