If Asr fardh are done already, can we pray previous (qadha) fardh at that time?

537 viewsSalahasr asr prayers asr salah qadha qazaa

If someone has missed zuhr by mistake, and they pray Asr, and then they remember that they had not prayed zuhr before, is it permissible to pray qadha of zuhr at that time? Meaning, if Asr fardh are done already, can we pray previous (qadha) fardh at that time?

Bismillahi Ta’ala

Walaikum Assalam Warahmatullah

In principle, Qadha’ Salah may be perform at any time aside from the three prohibited times.

These three times are

  • Sunrise
  • Zawal/Zenith
  • Sunset

However, one should not make the qadha’ in public after having performed Asr Salah, as this could cause doubt and commotion.
