Can we delay congregation Witr in order to pray Tahajjud every night in Ramadan?

Walaikum Assalam Warahmatullah
It is preferred to pray Witr Salah in a congregation after Taraweeh. This is because it has been established practice from Rasulullah ﷺ as well as the Sahaba RA after that.
Moreover, Ramadhan comes with its own specialities. One such speciality is that witr salah, which otherwise is individual worship, becomes a congregational worship. In order to gain it special status it only behoves that we pray as Nabi ﷺ and Sahaba RA chose to establish them.
That being said, if someone forgoes witr in congregation after taraweeh and performs his after Tahajjud salah, then it will be valid.
